Worthington Christian welcomes Tricia Doran as our English Language Learner Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University in Education. She and her husband are parents of four children, their two youngest entering their Freshman and Junior years at WC. Their family attends Grace Central Church.

We asked all of our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Tricia!

I love having “family game night” when our daughter comes home from college for a visit and especially after a yummy Thanksgiving meal.

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
My elementary music teacher Mr. Tinter provided leadership opportunities for me outside of music class in school. We kept in touch, and while in college, he encouraged me to pursue a degree in education.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
My grandmother used to tell me, “Treeeeesha (in her German accent), make sure to stop and smell the roses.”

What is a passage of Scripture you turn to for encouragement?
John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
