Worthington Christian welcomes Suzanna Stedman as the art teacher in the Lower School – Grades 3-6. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University in Graphic Design and completed the University of New Mexico Art Education program. Suzanna comes to WC, having previously served as the art teacher on all three campuses of Tree of Life Christian School. She looks forward to having one school as her home base this year! She and her husband, Mike, are parents to Abby (22), Nate (19), and Sam (17), and their family attends Adventure church.

We asked all of our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Suzanna!

What is something someone might be surprised to find out about you?
All three of my kids were born in different states.

What was the first job you ever had?
Working at an AMC Movie Theatre

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
Carole Galbraith. She was my high school art teacher who really inspired me to explore my creativity. She is also the reason I looked into becoming an art teacher.

Who has the best pizza in Columbus?

If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
Math

If you had to delete all but three apps on your phone, which ones would you keep?
Signal, Instagram, and Spotify

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
The truth will set you free.

What is a passage of Scripture you turn to for encouragement?
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
