Art is a natural human expression, mimicking our heavenly Father’s hands, body, and mind to create and deliver something that previously did not exist. At WC, we approach all of the arts with excitement and anticipation for what’s possible from the hands, bodies, and minds of our students.

Music Programs

Music is a vital and constant part of the student experience at Worthington Christian. In kindergarten, students are exposed to the foundations of music, such as rhythm, tempo, notes, and beats. Students begin their musical journeys at the Lower School, engaging in vocal worship and picking up instruments. In the Upper School, many different bands, orchestras, ensembles, and choirs give students a chance to refine their craft, discover new genres, and perform on stages at school, in the community, and across the country.

Visual & Fine Arts

At Worthington Christian, our emphasis is on developing the skills of the artist while also tuning the artist’s mind to think holistically about the beauty of the world God has made. We recognize that the process of making art is as important as the art itself and, therefore, offer many ways and mediums in which to discover creations’ purpose and meaning, such as painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, and digital art.

Performing ArTs

Opportunities to act, sing, direct, and support stage productions abound as students advance their education at WC. Starting in middle school, students take artistic control over their own productions, bringing their unique artistic eye and style to the stage for our four yearly theatre shows. It’s no wonder numerous WC alumni have gone on to launch highly visible artistic careers after finding their voice on our stage.
