WC Welcomes Annie to the Varsity Coaching Staff

We are excited to announce that Annie Stimmel will join the coaching staff of our Varsity Girls Golf team. Stimmel will serve as Assistant Coach alongside Head Coach Louis So.

“I enjoy teaching and coaching,” Stimmel said. “They are fantastic opportunities to pour into the lives of young men and women and point them to Jesus!”

Annie was a multi-sport athlete at Hilliard Davidson High School, where she was a standout golfer, earning MVP honors in her Junior and Senior years. Stimmel’s talent secured a golf scholarship to Taylor University, where she majored in Environmental Science. In her final year of collegiate competition, Annie helped Taylor win the conference championship for the fourth year in a row and placed second in the nation at the NAIA National Championship.

Last year, Stimmel joined the WC team as our eighth-grade Science Teacher and Boys JV Golf Coach. Previously, Coach Stimmel taught middle school science at Liberty Christian School in Anderson, Indiana, where she also coached the cross-country team.

Louis So, WC Varsity Girls Golf Head Coach, invites us to welcome Coach Stimmel to the WC Girls Golf Family, stating, “I am excited to have a coach of Annie’s caliber and character as a member of our coaching staff. Please join me in welcoming Annie to her new role.”
