New Faculty and Staff: Kristi Veit
Worthington Christian welcomes Kristi Veit as the Administrative Assistant to the Head of School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio State University in Communications. Kristi comes to WC, having previously served in various volunteer roles in her home school district and as Director of Client Services at a wealth management firm before that. Kristi and her husband have a daughter who is attending 5th grade at WC this year. Their family attends Rock City Church in Polaris.
We asked all of our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Kristi!
What is something people might be surprised to find out about you?
I lived in Southern California for five years and learned how to surf.
What is the first job you ever had?
I was the office assistant at Steeb Hall, my dorm at Ohio State.
What is your favorite family tradition?
We go to Lakeside on Lake Erie every summer. I went there when I was younger, and now love sharing it with friends and family. If you know, you know about Lakeside and why it’s so special.
What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
My mom makes a fabulous lasagna that I have yet to replicate.
Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
Ms. Polinko, my 10th grade English Teacher. She instructed, guided, and made you feel seen.
If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
I would love to perfect my pickleball game.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Your biggest fear is also your biggest opportunity for growth. Don’t be afraid to lean in. Something wonderful could be on the other side.
