NEW FACULTY AND STAFF: JACKSON WOOSLEY
Among the new faculty and staff members for this school year is Jackson Woosley. Woosley is coming to Worthington Christian all the way from Texas to serve as the school’s 12th grade Christian Studies teacher. He holds an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, as well as a Master’s of Theology with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has taught at a classical Christian School in Dallas for the last two years. His wife of five years, Susan, has many family members that live in the Columbus area.
Woosley shares in his words what he looks forward to in his role at WC: “A distinctly Christian education must be the holistic transformation of the student, teaching them to see and savor God in all disciplines and subjects, giving them a vision for a way of life rooted in love and oriented toward God and others. WC accomplishes this well in both what we teach and how we teach it. In other words, I look forward to contributing to WC’s mission of helping students to think Christianly about life, faith, and practice. Prayer proceeds and undergirds all that I do. I am passionate about praying with and for students. The call and response of prayer taking place in a classroom is a beautiful place to invite students deeper into the story of Scripture and what God is doing in the world and in their own lives.”
