HONORING OUR PAST: EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS
Worthington Christian School has offered an exceptional academic experience to its students since its earliest years. In the 2000s, WC took formal steps to ensure continued academic excellence through multiple accreditation processes. In 2004, WC joined the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the North Central Association (now known as Cognia). These associations provide institutional accountability, a network of resources, and connections with thousands of like-minded schools across the world.
In the 2010s, Worthington Christian earned national recognition for academic excellence. In 2016, WC’s elementary school (grades K-5) was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. In 2019, WC’s middle grades (6-8) and also received this selective recognition.
