HONORING OUR PAST: ATHLETIC AND ACADEMIC FACILITIES EXPANSION

The generosity of the Worthington Christian community remained steady into the 2000s, continuing the expansion of the school’s academic and athletic offerings.

The Field of Dreams campaign allowed for improvements to the outdoor athletic complex. Tennis courts were added with the pacesetting gift from the late Bob Reither. The estate of Bernice Hogue, wife of the late R. Fred Hogue, provided seed money for the Dick DeArmey Education Center, including 12 classrooms shared by the school and church. Worthington Christian now uses the classrooms exclusively as part of the Upper School.
