New Opportunities for Supporting Warrior Athletics

Just like any athletic program, we prepare our athletes to compete, and we compete to win. But that’s just a small part of what our athletics program is all about. Our commitment is to cultivate young women and men of character who value doing things the right way.

Athletics is real life disguised as sport, giving us tremendous learning opportunities. It is where iron sharpens iron, where athletes can find purpose in teamwork and triumph. When, down the road, the games will have changed, the life lessons our coaches teach will still apply. It’s what makes the experience of being a Warrior greater than any games lost or titles won.

It takes a nation, Warrior Nation!

We are laying the groundwork for the 2024-25 athletic season by introducing two new initiatives and revamping an existing one. We are calling on the community to partner with the athletic department in developing Worthington Christian Warriors.

Athletic Sponsorship Program

We’ve offered an opportunity for organizations to support the Worthington Christian athletic department for years, but the program is being revamped for next school year. Changes include:

  • Reducing the price for sponsor banners at some venues;
  • Limiting the number of sponsor banners per venue; and
  • Adding promotional spot sponsorships on the new GameTime Radio.

For returning sponsors, we want to let you know that we can no longer give away an All-Access Family Pass due to IRS guidelines governing sponsorships.

Circle of Champions

New to the Worthington Christian athletic department is the Circle of Champions, a community dedicated to championing student-athletes on and off the field, court, and track. Through an annual individual/family membership, the Circle of Champions enables the athletic department to provide unparalleled training, programming, and experiences that enhance our students’ growth beyond what the annual budget allows.  Features include:

  • Reserved parking and seating, an All-Access Family Pass, and more;
  • Tax deduction on a portion of the annual membership; and
  • Tickets to A Night of Champions, a special vision-casting event planned for winter/spring 2025.

Volunteer Opportunities

The athletic department has teamed up with the Parent-Teacher Fellowship’s newly released volunteer hub to communicate how sports fans can get involved. Whether you’re interested in taking the lead in an area or helping out periodically, an opportunity awaits you. Make sure to follow the link to find ways to plug in.
