Head of School Troy McIntosh announces special, one-time bonus for WC employees

Ask Worthington Christian School’s newest graduates what had the most significant impact on them while at WC, and you will quickly notice a common thread in their responses. One after another, the Class of 2020 will tell you that WC’s faculty and staff had the greatest impact on their lives, helping them become the students and people God made them to be. These new graduates speak of the caring nature of their teachers, the ability to have mentoring relationships with them, and the teachers’ interest not only in their academic success but spiritual growth and development.

We could not agree more. That’s why we are designating 100 percent of all donations made during The Big Give for a special, one-time bonus for teachers and staff.

The Big Give, scheduled for June 10-11, is a 25-hour fundraising effort spearheaded by The Columbus Foundation to support local nonprofits. What’s unique about The Big Give is that every gift is boosted thanks to a $1.5 million Bonus Pool, provided by The Columbus Foundation and corporate and community partners, increasing the amount of each donation based on the percentage of total giving. A $100 donation typically is amplified to $110 to $125 because of the Bonus Pool.
