Empowering Parents to Choose the Best Educational Path for Their Children

As National School Choice Week approaches, we celebrate the progress made in expanding school choice in Ohio. Yet, we never want to take it for granted. Remember, the government belongs to those who show up!

During the week of January 26, we encourage all school choice advocates—parents, grandparents, students, alumni, taxpayers—to contact elected officials and thank them for supporting school choice initiatives and advocating for parental rights to choose the best educational options for their children. Your voice is vital in ensuring our lawmakers stand firm as the opposition grows.

Be Heard: Simple Ways to Protect Your Educational Freedom

  • Contact Elected Officials | Share your gratitude and what school choice has meant to your family. Mailing addresses and phone numbers can be found here:
  • Complete and Return Notecards | Attention Lower School Parents! Monday’s folders will include a pre-printed notecard that we encourage you to complete and return to school by Thursday, January 30.
  • Student Communications | Student voices matter! Our Lower School students will have the opportunity to draw a picture or write a note about what WC means to them. We encourage Upper School students to participate by writing notes and turning them in to the office by January 30 or following the links above to contact elected officials.
  • Visit to the Statehouse | Head of School Dr. Mike Hayes and Assistant Head of School Dr. Erica Van Dop, along with students, will visit the state capitol to drop off parent and student notes and letters.
