ALUMNI SWEETHEARTS: DANNY AND ALLI NATHAN

WC theatre production ignited their friendship turned love story.

We continue our high school sweethearts series, and today we catch up with Danny and Alli (Butterworth) Nathan (WC ’11).

How many years have you been married? It will be five years in June, but including dating, we have been together for 10 years total. 

When did you first meet? Both of us attended WC starting in preschool, so we can’t remember when we met. We didn’t become friends until our senior year of high school after being in theatre productions together. 

When was your first date? We went to Gala together as our first official date together.

What do you know about God now that you didn’t know before you were married? We have learned how much God can use circumstances and each other to shape us into the image of Christ. 

What advice would you give those hoping to marry one day? The more you learn about marriage, relationships, communication the better. Seek wise counsel!
