Volunteers are a vital part of community life at Worthington Christian School, and opportunities abound for parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, and friends to get involved. If you don’t find an opportunity that fits your skillset or schedule, let us know. We welcome your ideas.

All-School Fan Experience| December 13, 2024
Go, WC, Go! Come out for a fun evening that includes food trucks, activity stations, prizes for students, and more.

All-School Tailgate | September 20, 2024
Can you smell that fresh, crisp fall air? We have a fun evening planned for our All-School Football Tailgate, and we’d love your help making the evening flow smoothly. Volunteer help is needed for the day and evening of the event, including set up, tear down, and staffing the welcome table. Come join us and be a part of the fun!

New Family Welcome Committee
Do you enjoy welcoming new families into the fold, helping them get plugged into all that WC offers, and mentoring them to become more connected to the WC community? Well, the New Family Welcome Committee is for you! This would include hosting a table at our New Parent Welcome Dinner (August 25, 2024), attending open houses (held before school starts in August), and facilitating relationships with new families to which you are assigned. This role would be ongoing throughout the year. A co-coordinator is desired.

Share the Ware Annual Sale | August 8, 2024
Share the Ware is a year-round initiative where families may donate and purchase freshly laundered and gently used school uniforms and spirit wear. Collection bins are on each campus to dispose of unwanted items anytime. The annual sale of items collected takes place on the first Thursday of August, with prices so low you can’t pass it up. Volunteers are needed throughout the all-day sale to freshen up inventory, handle transactions, and answer questions.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week | May 5-9, 2025 (All positions are filled for 2024-25.)
Do you have a heart to bless and celebrate our teachers and staff who pour their hearts and minds into our children throughout the year? This committee will coordinate the week’s activities for K-12 in conjunction with National Teacher Appreciation Week.
