Andrea grew up in Cleveland with her parents and older sister, and she currently attends Northwest Chapel in Dublin.
We asked all of our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Andrea!
What is something someone might be surprised to find out about you?
I love art of all forms! But my particular favorite past-time is painting. Although, I’m not one to paint on stretched canvas typically. I love painting on wood, glass, or other types of materials.
What is your favorite homecooked meal?
Korean spicy rice cakes.
Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
My favorite teacher in school was Mrs. Tawil. She was the art teacher at my high school. I definitely grew my art skills in her classes, and she was someone who would push me to keep growing. We also got to have snacks on block days!
What is your favorite family tradition?
My family plays bingo every Thanksgiving, and it’s so much fun!
What is your most used emoji?
If you had to delete all but three apps on your phone, which ones would you keep?
YouTube, Google Maps, and Naver English Dictionary
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
The beauty of the Gospel is that when we repent of our daily sins, God forgets them. And if we keep holding onto them and don’t let them go like God does, then we aren’t fully trusting in the finished work of Christ on the cross.
What is a passage of Scripture you turn to for encouragement?
Hebrews 4:14-16
Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
