Hayes announces a newly created role for the school and highlights March happenings

For his March address to the Worthington Christian School community, Head of School Dr. Hayes shares a brief recap and updates on the school’s winter sports teams and the recent theatrical production of A Year with Frog and Toad. Dr. Hayes congratulates WC parent Zac Hess on his new role as Lead Pastor at Grace Polaris Church, as well as congratulates Upper School business teacher Nick Johnson for his national recognition as an innovative educator.

Dr. Hayes also shares that at this time, he has now had the opportunity to dialogue with nearly every faculty and staff member at the school as a part of the listening tour he announced earlier in the school year. Synthesizing the wealth of insights, hopes, and dreams he has heard from others throughout the school community, he is announcing the development of a new role at WC called “Dean of Student Life.” This role will oversee five key aspects of student life, including faith integration, community, safety, wellness, and service opportunities.

Dr. Hayes also outlines key events taking place in March and beyond, and invites the WC community to join him in praying for the Class of 2023 as they prepare to minister in the Dominican Republic in the coming weeks. See it all in the video below.
