CELEBRATING THE CLASS OF 2020: MAY 20
As we conclude our celebration of the class of 2020, today we’re recognizing yet another way that this year’s class is unique. This group of seniors is the first to take part in WC’s House system all four years of high school. The House system was a new way of building and maintaining community in grades 9-12 when the Class of 2020 began as freshmen four years ago. Since then, they’ve each been a part of a certain “house” and “family,” participating in various team-building competitions, community service projects and leadership opportunities. Many seniors credit the House system with helping them build new and deeper friendships with peers, as well as grow as team members and leaders. Enjoy the two short videos below created by seniors Taylor Gill and Jenna Kray to get a glimpse of what Houses are all about.
